EXTERNAL 25 PIN PARALLEL PORT

There is 1 25 pin (DB-25) Parallel port on the board. 
The parallel port is a basic I/O port that is usually used to connect a printer.
This port is also called LPT (LinePrinTer). This port can send 8 bits of data at a time. Since the transmit and receive pins are separate, it can also receive 8 bits of data at the same time. It uses the port named DB25. The number 25 in the DB25 name refers to the number of pins in the cable entry. Printer and scanner use this port. Parallel port, like serial port, has started to leave its place to USB. Cables longer than 6 meters should not be used to avoid potential problems. The target device can not only process the commands sent by the PC, but also send data to the PC itself.

Asix MCS9865 CHIPSET
The Asix MCS9865 chipset is located on the board. It complies with IEEE1284 Standard and also supports SPP, PS2, EPP & ECP modes. Data Transfer Rate: 1.5 Mbps supported.
